Anthony Mobley Director/Talent Coordinator

 

Anthony Mobley is an accomplished Musician who has performed his entire life. Some of his more notable performances are performing with the Texas Metropolitan opera, Carnegie Hall With the Florida Youth Chorale, And being the front man of his former band Solace. Anthony was also the Assistant Band Director at Columbia High School, He help lead the marching band to a Superior at the Florida Bandmasters Association Adjudication. He has been a talent judge on many occasions. While working at Columbia High School he became involved with a singing competition. He would organize and rehearse the contestants. In 2014 he became involved with Southside Idol and fell in love with it. He and his family moved to  Melbourne, Fl where he was the Worship Leader for Eastminster Presbyterian Church. Anthony now resides in Atlanta ,Georgia where he gives voice and performance lessons in his spare time. Anthony believes that dedication and preparation are the keys to success.

Rosa Stewart

 

Rosa Stewart is a U.S Army Gulf War combat veteran who served 24 years as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for meritorious service in Saudi Arabia during the Gulf War.

While in the military she earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Science
as a Health Educator. Post military she earned her Master of Business Administration with a Concentration in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution.
After military retirement she became a Veteran Claims Examiner with the Florida Department of Veterans’ Affairs serving veterans, widows, and family members with benefits.
Her love for music began at the early age of five, when she started singing in the church singing group. She continued her musical talents sing in the Summers Elementary, Niblack Sixth Grade Center and Lake City Junior High School choruses. She furthered her musical education under the tutelage of Mr. Norman L. Choice for four years. She performed with the Columbia High
School chorus and Ensemble, earning Superior Ratings in competitions.
She continued her musical love and knowledge in the military by starting, directing and/or participating in choirs and ensembles in her various military assignments in Fort Lee, VA; Fort Bragg, NC; Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC; Germany, and Saudi Arabia entertaining the troops. Once she retired from the military she returned to her home church, Northside Church of Christ, Lake City, FL and became the Director of the youth and adult singing groups. Presently, is the Assistant Director of the Northside Ensemble Singers of the Northside Church of Christ.
She tries to live her life by one of her favorite scriptures:
“Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you” (1Thess.
5:18)

Dr. Tony Buzzella

Dr. Buzzella is a native Floridian, born and raised in Miami-Dade County where
he excelled in both academics and the arts.
Professionally, he has received numerous awards and accolades. He began his
career as a High School Band and Choral director in 1976. He went on to serve
as a school Principal, elected School Board Member, and host of several
community arts festivals and special events.
Dr. Buzzella has been a professional musician and entertainer since the age of
sixteen. Through the years, he has shared the performance stage with several
legendary musicians and entertainers, including: Pete Fountain, Grandpa Jones, Kenny Rogers, Rusty Hammerstrom, and many others.
Currently, Tony Buzzella serves as principal at North Florida Arts & Sciences
Academy in Lake City, Florida and vocal coach for the North Central Florida's
“Southside Idol”. He also serves as President on the board of Community
Concerts of Lake City, Inc.
